Tired...
So tired. Finished a meeting in the morning, and was going to do some desk work for the remaining part of the day, when a fellow colleague came over and asked if I could help out with an accident site. Ended up spending the next 6 hrs from 11am to 5pm combing a site near Woodlands. We combed quite a bit, but it just felt like there was more we could do. Ended back in the office and left at 6+. Not much appetite to finish up my steamboat and had a cup of extra coffee frappucino ('extra coffee' cost me 80c!!) on the way home. Think I will laze around for a bit and sleep early. Thank God it's a holiday tomorrow.
Wonder...
It feels funny... watching people I know slowly quit and leave the organisation. It's like history repeating itself again and again, only back then, I was one of the earliest to leave, so it spared me the farewells and goodbyes. It took me 6 years to leave, but when I decided to, I just did it. I guess I am not that driven, despite what people tell me, I would've left the company years back if I was. But well, it takes a catalyst to make me budge I guess, and the catalyst is pretty strong.
A lot of friends are leaving, or have already gone. As one put it, "You're not planning to stay here forever are you? I'm thinking like 1 to 2 years, all of us will be gone". It's sad, hearing that another friend might leave. And that more and more people will start to leave, whether we like it or not. If we don't, then the things that follow would be ours to blame and no one elses.
Maybe I'm just too lazy, and maybe I'm just making excuses. But there will be a time when I've had enough, and I hope that time comes soon. Then I can spare myself the suffering and bid others farewell, instead of having to say bye to all the nice people i know.

Met a good friend today during a company event. Though for a short while, sometimes just chatting a little and getting to know how things are, is just heartwarming. Hope his new place bodes him well. It's great to know that some friends are really worth having. :)
Nightmare..
It's been like ages since I've had a nightmare. Woke up shouting and can vaguely remember what I was dreaming of. There were like 2 friends sitting down on a table with me when one of them's face started to crumble. I stood up and placed a hand facing it, and started praying incantations as hard as I can. After a while of trying and not succeeding in fending off the ghost, I woke up.

Went to work early in the morning.. had bf... and when I got to the office, there was a complaint waiting for me, some jiao comments on some letter sent in to address, a few leaves to approve, some bill to chase, an email from the big boss asking for audience, someone asking for me to help vet an appeal, a system problem to address on some ops thing, request for info from the boss, a course to postpone, some reports to vet and approve etc etc all at one go!! The boss comes out and passes me 2 papers, a buddy comes over with an appraisal, and finally after everything is done and complete, had some time to have a nice lunch.
I was thinking of clearing the audience in the afternoon, but ended up bringing the team to site. Spent quite a number of hours under the hot sun, and I totally forgot I was having diarrhoea and a slight fever. Perhaps the hectic day took my mind off things so much, that it didn't feel like I wasn't feeling well at all!!
Oh well, I guess it's all just part of a days work, and I get to get a good nights sleep. It's really nice though, when everyone asks me how my work is, and I always tell them I am too free and there's totally nothing to do. Wahaha, priceless!
What lies ahead...
Having a throbbing headache after today's forum. Have been telling myself to be calm and patient, but I guess I let things get the better of me again. Seriously think its time for a change. Having a headache, yet still push myself to look at my resume again. Hopefully tomorrows papers would have some better opportunities. Wish me luck!! Perhaps that's the only way I can go far far away from those people who keep making my life a living hell. Pray for me ya!! Haha!

SINGAPORE: Police have arrested a 53-year-old woman for making hoax calls to the '999' police emergency hotline.
Several calls were made between April and June this year to the hotline requesting for emergency assistance.
Emergency responders from the police and the Singapore Civil Defence Force were dispatched to the locations.
However, the calls were subsequently found to be hoaxes.
Officers from Clementi Police Division studied the call patterns and conducted extensive ground enquiries.
The identity of the suspect was eventually established, and she was arrested in Clementi Avenue 5 at about 3pm on Wednesday.
The suspect will be charged on Friday in court.
If convicted, she can be jailed up to three years and fined.
